Bassoon, This work is based on motifs in the 3/4 and 6/8 time, which are especially characteristic for the Argentine folklore. Different accentuations alternate and create a liquid melodic discourse, in which the different original melodic and rhythmic basic ideas connect, develop and vary. The special feature of this work lies in the use of chords with a span of the 9th, 22th and 13th interval.
